About the role
| We are looking for a Staff Analyst to join our Sales Operations team. The role will be based in our Bangalore, India office, reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations. This position will be responsible for leading the Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning process for US solar business, collaborating across Sales, Finance, Operations, and BU to align executive vision and market trends with demand and supply. The ideal candidate needs to be highly analytical with a strong background and understanding in Sales processes, supply chain, and data analysis. Hands-on experience in building web-apps for problem solving by leveraging AI-assisted automation tools like Claude Cowork, Devin, Copilot, etc. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential. |
What the role entails (Key Responsibilities) | - Lead the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for AMER region, driving the monthly/quarterly cadence, agenda, and executive-level reviews.
- Translate market trends, customer demand signals, and executive vision into actionable demand forecasts at SKU level.
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve statistical and analytical forecasting models to improve forecast accuracy across product lines and regions.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Business Unit leaders to reconcile demand signals, supply constraints, and executive strategic priorities into a unified operating plan.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify demand/supply gaps, risks, and opportunities, and present clear, data-driven recommendations and executive summaries to senior stakeholders.
- Track key S&OP performance metrics (forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels) and drive continuous improvement across the planning cycle.
- Design and build internal tools, dashboards, and web applications using AI-assisted development platforms such as Claude Cowork, Devin, and Copilot to automate demand planning workflows.
- Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes within Sales Ops and prototype AI-assisted or automated solutions to solve them end-to-end, from problem scoping to a working tool.
- Apply AI-assisted workflows to accelerate data analysis, scenario modeling, forecast generation, and reporting.
- Stay current on emerging AI tools and platforms relevant to sales operations and analytics, recommending adoption where they add measurable efficiency or accuracy gains.

What we are looking for in you (Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility) | - B.Tech/Master’s required with knowledge of supply chain and analytics experience, preferably in complex Solar or High-Tech industry multi-tiered channel environment.
- Advanced skills with MS Excel and data manipulation are a must. AI tools, Incorta, SQL, and SFDC experience preferred.
- You appreciate a good spreadsheet, are comfortable with big data sets and are meticulous in your metrics.
- Very process-focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and sound business judgment - comfortable with data-driven insight seeking.
- Organized with strong work ethic, detailed, and metrics driven.
- Very process oriented and aware with a bias toward accuracy.

Experience & Education | Bachelors BTECH/Master’s from Tier-1 colleges (CGPA – 7+/70%) with about 8-10 yrs of experience. |
